Every family we care for has a named registered nurse. As Lead Nurse you are that nurse for our first clients in Lagos, and you set the clinical standard for the team as it grows.
Your work is done partly in clients' homes and partly in our care app, where reports, concerns and alerts come to you.
What you will do
- Visit new clients at home, assess their needs and write their care plan, including an emergency plan
- Supervise and support caregivers, and help with their induction
- Review, query and sign visit reports before families see them
- Respond to urgent concerns and alerts, including on your share of on-call
- Speak with families and doctors when a client's condition changes
- Keep accurate records in line with professional standards
What you need
- Registered nurse with a current licence from the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN)
- At least three years' nursing experience after qualifying, including adult or older people's care
- Confident assessing patients at home and writing care plans
- Comfortable using a smartphone and a web app, including an authenticator app for secure sign-in
- Live in Lagos and able to travel to clients
It helps if you have
- Community, home health or geriatric nursing experience
- Experience supervising or training care staff
- Experience with stroke, diabetes, wound care or dementia
