Our caregivers look after older people in their own homes, so they can stay where they are comfortable. Many of the families we serve live abroad and rely on you to be their eyes and ears.
You will always have a named registered nurse behind you. They read your reports, answer your questions and back you up if something goes wrong on a shift.
What you will do
- Help with washing, dressing, using the toilet and moving around safely
- Prepare meals and make sure your client eats and drinks enough
- Remind your client to take medicines prescribed by their doctor, and record each dose
- Keep your client company and notice any change in how they are
- Clock in and out and file a short visit report on our app, which works without signal
- Raise a concern in the app straight away if something is wrong, and follow the emergency plan
